Fighter Description

John Tanner hails from the Michigan's UP and is very much a small town boy. Grew up working on the family farm and now hopes to save that farm from closing down by winning money boxing. Tanner has no formal training and relies on his natural abilites to survive. After finishing a solid amatuer career with a 13-2 record, he is ready to take on the pros. In his 1st pro fight the "Wolverine" won the Midwest Regional Title in a rematch with Smoorg who he had also defeated while both were amatuers. After defending his regional title once he has moved on to test his skills in the world ranks.
